Matin - Piano

Matin Bassami, aged 26, is a classically trained pianist who studied Classical Piano Performance at the University of Nicosia. In addition to performing, he is an accomplished composer with a deep passion for musical expression. Throughout his academic journey, he had the honor of serving as an accompanist for both the university’s dance department and its jazz choir, enriching numerous performances with his artistry. Notably, he also participated in a remarkable Guinness World Record project in Cyprus, where 25 pianists performed simultaneously on a single piano, an extraordinary celebration of collaboration, precision, and musical unity.

Pavlos - Guitar

Pavlos is a Bachelor of Music graduate, distinguished with the highest honor in 2025 by the University of Nicosia’s Department of Education. He offers instruction in electric and acoustic guitar, as well as music theory and harmony, for students of all levels. His artistic style spans rock, blues, funk, and jazz, reflecting both versatility and depth in his musical expression.

Christina - Piano

Christina Koumbarou is a music graduate (BA) of Plymouth University, specializing in Piano Performance, and also holds a diploma in contemporary singing from Sirios School of Music. She has performed widely as both a pianist and singer—solo and with bands—at festivals and live venues in Cyprus and abroad, and has composed music for theatrical productions. With many years of teaching experience in piano, singing, and music theory, as well as work as a choir conductor, her breadth of knowledge spans both classical and modern approaches to piano teaching.

Alexandros - Guitar

Alexandros Komodromos is an accomplished electric guitarist, educator, composer, arranger and session musician who began playing at age eight. His teaching emphasizes technique, song mastery, and expressive playing – a proven formula for learning guitar. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Music with a focus on Jazz Guitar Performance from the University of Nicosia. Active in the local scene, he has formed bands and performed at venues and festivals, including Island Seeds, Trip Tribe and Anima. Specializing in Jazz, Blues, Funk, and Fusion, he also composes, arranges, records for artists, and contributes to film scoring for short films. 

Andrea - Vocals

Andrea Savva has a strong passion not only in singing, but also as a vocal coach. As a singer, she has participated and been awarded in numerous singing competitions. Although pop is her favorite genre, she has had lots of collaborations with a variety of artists from diverse backgrounds in music.

Andrea obtained a grade 8 classical singing diploma from Trinity College of London, along with Cheryl Porter’s certification. As a vocal coach her goal is to make her students enjoy and build better confidence using their voices. This is done using healthy and correct techniques so that singing can be performed to an audience with greater joy rather than fear.

Marios - Vocals

Marios Panayi is a vocal coach who helps singers of all levels unlock their full potential, developing technique, range, and expressive confidence. He holds a Bachelor of Music from Royal Holloway, University of London and a Master of Popular Music Performance from the University of East London, combining formal training with practical experience. Marios takes a tailored, performance-driven approach to teaching, guiding each student to discover and strengthen their unique voice.

Elenios - Violin

Elenios Isidorou is a professional violinist and educator, having performed with conductors and artists such as Alkis Baltas, Yiorgos Kountouris, Mario Frangoulis, and Alkistis Protopsalti across Europe. He has taught at the Municipal Conservatory of Alexandroupolis and the University of Macedonia’s Baby Artist program, applying methods like Suzuki. A graduate of the University of Macedonia, he is pursuing postgraduate studies in Music Education, while also engaging in teaching, performance, social projects, and music for theatre and education.

Stefanos - Drums

Stefanos Eliopoulos studied ‘Popular Music Performance’ at Southampton Solent University. Based in Larnaca, he contributed in several music bands and projects as a drummer. Currently he is involved in performing and recording with music groups such as: “The Ladderman”, “Kontovourkis & Co.” and “Lemesios”. Having over the years developed a breadth of experience in the music genres of Rock, Blues, Pop, Soul, Funk, Reggae, and with a repertoire as a teacher since 2016, he now takes on students out of Hot Soap Studios. Stefanos is available for private drum lessons for individuals above the age of 8.

Andreas - Sound Engineering

Andreas Matheou is a Larnaca-based musician and experienced sound engineer offering engineering lessons to students out of Hot Soap’s live recording space. With a BMus from the University of Nicosia and years of hands-on work as lead engineer/producer at Hot Soap Studios since 2018, Andreas brings professional expertise in recording, production, and mixing. Alongside his studio work, he’s an active guitarist, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist in several Cyprus bands, giving students a practical, real-world perspective on modern music engineering and performance.
